Phil Mickelson is still without a victory. Tiger Woods is still on the sidelines.
Even if 2014 has been largely forgettable, Mickelson and Woods were nonetheless among the top 10 highest-earning athletes in the United States, according to Fortune’s “Fortunate 50” list.
Mickelson came in at No. 6, with more than $37 million in combined salary and endorsements, while Woods was seventh at $35.5 million.
Forbes reports that Mickelson’s $4.2 million in on-course earnings was topped by nine other players, but no one took home more than his $33 million – from such companies as Callaway, Barclays and KPMG, among others – away from the course.
Woods, meanwhile, earned slightly more than $4.5 million on the course, while reportedly raking in about $33 million (with upwards of about $20 million from Nike) in endorsements.
They were the only two golfers on the list. Phil and Tiger checked in behind Kobe Bryant, Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning, and ahead of Tom Brady, Derrick Rose and Matthew Stafford.
Boxer Floyd Mayweather topped the list ($105 million last year), with LeBron James ($57 million combined) finishing in the No. 2 spot.
Rory McIlroy was 13th on the International 20 list, earning more than $24 million over the past 12 months.
