Fresh of his first win since 2013 and the sixth of his PGA Tour career, Bill Haas is up to 23rd in the Official World Golf Ranking.
After peaking as high as 12th in 2012, Haas had fallen all the way down to 41st following a winless 2014, and now sits just ahead of Hunter Mahan and just below Dustin Johnson, who’s slipped seven spots over his six-month absence.
Meanwhile in the Middle East, Branden Grace managed to crack the top 50 with a win at the Qatar Masters. The victory and two other top-20 finishes have the 26-year-old South African up to No. 47 from No. 82 to start the year. The top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking come April will earn an invitation to the Masters.
The only change in the top 10 this week: Matt Kuchar used a second-place finish at the Humana to hop Rickie Fowler for the No. 10 spot, pushing Fowler to 11.
Here is the rest of your top 10 for the week of Jan. 25: 1. Rory Mcilroy, 2. Henrik Stenson, 3. Adam Scott, 4. Bubba Watson, 5. Justin Rose, 6. Sergio Garcia, 7. Jim Furyk, 8. Jason Day, 9. Jordan Spieth, 10. Matt Kuchar.
